Get Ready for a Weekend of Deliciousness, the DMV Chocolate and Coffee Festival Returns

Are you ready for unlimited sipping, sampling, and shopping? One of the largest foodie festivals of the DMV region is returning to Chantilly, Virginia, on October 7 and 8 at the Dulles Expo Center! Get ready to meet the best chocolatiers, coffee roasters, gourmet food vendors, and artisans from around DC, Maryland, Virginia, and abroad. With over 150 vendors, two classrooms, a main stage, kids craft area, photo walls, and a gourmet coffee courtyard … there’s surely something for everyone.

The DMV Chocolate and Coffee Festival brings together a passionate community of chocolate and coffee lovers to meet face-to-face and learn from the local business owners who put their heart and soul into these delicious creations. Featured in the festival are many local favorites, often nationally known, like Weird Brothers Coffee, River-Sea Chocolates, Turkish Coffee Lady, Cameron’s Coffee and Chocolates, Cafe Medrano, Capital Candy Jar, Inner Loop Coffee, Rare Bird Coffee, Le Papiyon Chocolatier, Chouquette Chocolates, Dano’s Granola, Potomac Chocolate, and so many more! An updated vendor list can be found here. In addition to sweets, look for unique finds like salsas, hot sauces, jams, candles, and more.

The event organizers have a goal to provide an experience that makes everyone want to come back year after year, which is why this year’s festival is expanding into a larger hall that allows for three times more space than the previous festival. The new space allows for more attractions, wider aisles for attendee comfort, classrooms, craft areas, and more! Cafe Kreyol, Roast Magazine’s 2023 Macro Roaster of the Year, will be providing a coffee education series all weekend long in one of the featured classrooms. On the main stage, confirmed speakers include Gizem Şalcıgil White (the Turkish Coffee Lady), a Turkish American entrepreneur, who will be presenting alongside world-renowned micro artist master Hasan Kale, known as Turkey’s “Microangelo.” Many vendors will be providing unique tasting experiences onsite at their booths along with hands-on learning experiences in the classrooms.

To support the local community, the festival will be conducting a food drive in conjunction with sponsor WGTS 91.9. Bringing a canned food donation can get you a discount at the door and entrance to a prize drawing for some popular items, like the AeroPress Coffee Maker. For more details and updates on event charitable efforts, giveaways, and other activities, be sure to check the festival website!

“It was one of the best events, hands down, we were involved with all year,” said Patrick Wilson, an exhibitor in 2022. “We had so much fun, it was perfect for the whole family” said an attendee walking out. Bring an extra bag and be ready for trips back to the car, this is a shopping experience you’re not going to want to miss. See you there on October 7 and 8, at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia. For more information and discounted tickets online visit DMVchocolateandcoffee.com
