Reston Multicultural Festival

The annual Reston Multicultural Festival celebrates Reston’s rich diversity. This year, audiences will be treated to a whole day of stunning performances from National Heritage Award winners, like the New Orleans brass band Treme and the acclaimed Cambodian American Heritage Troupe. Come for a delightful day at Reston Town Square Park filled with beauty. Everyone is encouraged to dress in attire that shares their pride in their own cultural roots. Reston Baby Expo

The Reston Baby Expo is the perfect place for new and expecting moms and families to explore resources, programs, and services from local organizations. Boo at the Pool
Saturday, October 22, 12:30–4 p.m.
Dive into the RCC Terry L. Smith Aquatics Center’s Boo at the Pool! Some treats will float for the little ones, others will sink for those seeking a little more adventure. Each participating child will receive a goody bag upon completion of the event. Children wearing poolside costumes will receive an additional prize. A parent or adult is required to accompany each non-swimmer in the water and participate in the activity. RCC will have a limited number of lifejackets available for use. Halloween Family Fun Day
Saturday, October 22, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Celebrate Halloween with RCC! Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy performances from family-friendly entertainers. Peter McCory’s one-man band will put children in the Halloween spirit at noon, followed by Bob Brown’s Puppets in “Monster Madness” at 1:15 p.m. Little ghosts and goblins up to age 8 can try their skills at games until 2 p.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult (18 years and older) throughout the event.
