Fans of ABC’s The Bachelor will recognize a familiar face at this year’s Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival. Jesse Palmer will serve as the festival’s grand marshal this year. Now in its 99th year, the Apple Blossom Festival runs April 24 to May 3.

Palmer currently hosts The Bachelor as well as HGTV’s Bachelor Mansion Takeover. He also hosts Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship and Ultimate Baking Championship. A former college football and NFL player, he serves as a college football analyst for ESPN and ABC.

Palmer’s Apple Blossom Festival grand marshal role includes a public appearance at the Partlow Insurance Sports Breakfast on Saturday, May 2, at 9 a.m. at Shenandoah University. He will also greet fans later that day during the festival’s parade, which kicks off at 1:30 p.m.

The festival also includes carnival games, fireworks, live music, dances, and a 10K run. Tickets are now on sale to all festival events.
