One of your favorite guilty pleasure shows is about to return for a new season. Dance Moms: A New Era is returning to Hulu with an all-new Ashburn-based dance studio. Episode one of the new season will be released on Monday, December 8.

Ashburn’s Studio Bleu closed after the series’ first season. Project X Dance Company opened its studios in October 2024 in the former space of Studio Bleu. Project X Dance Company and its dancers will now be at the center of Season 2.

Gloria Hampton returns to coach the competition team at the new studio. Dancers from Studio Bleu will compete along with new faces trying to make it to nationals.

According to Project X Dance Company’s website, “Project X is where dancers chase the rush of the unpredictable and limitless possibilities of personal growth and expression. We embrace the adrenaline and the excitement of pushing limits and discovering something entirely new for each dancer.”

Dance Moms: A New Era premiered in August 2024. The spin-off series calls back to the original Dance Moms series that followed the Abby Lee Dance Company for eight seasons.
