Be prepared for more delays—Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission’s OmniRide is still operating with reduced service. A work stoppage has been in effect since last week as employees rally the worker’s union to make a better deal with the company. Check here for changes to the commuter service. (WTOP)

Traffic is moving back through Route 29 at Vint Hill after reopening on Friday, Aug. 2. The project removed two hills on the route and regraded the northbound lanes, hoping to improve safety and avoid more accidents. The area ranked as the number-one safety concern for VDOT in the Culpeper District. (Inside NoVA)

The Arlington County Fair is set to have new features for visitors to enjoy this year, including a beer garden and goat yoga. The annual event will be held from Friday, Aug. 16 to Sunday, Aug. 18. New District Beer Company will host the beer garden, and goat yoga will have separate tickets for hour-long sessions. (ARL Now)

Live horse racing will return to Virginia’s Colonial Downs after a five-year absence. The live racing will be held for 15 days, beginning on Thursday, Aug. 8. Admission to the New Kent County racetrack (about halfway between Williamsburg and Richmond) will be free throughout the meet. (WTOP)
