John Schoettler, Amazon.com, Inc. top real estate executive, offered the community more information about HQ2 this week, and what the property might look like in relation to the company’s original headquarters in Seattle. WMATA is returning to manual operations just days after relaunching the automatic train door system on the Red Line after the train doors were closing too early. The organization had originally skewed away from automation after a 2009 crash and believed reintroducing the system would cut down on commute times on Metro’s busiest line. (WUSA9)

Southlake Recreation Association’s pool in Montclair has started offering “sensory-friendly” pool hours once a month to accommodate families who have children on the autism spectrum and others.
