Herndon council member dies after car crash; Arlington and Alexandria working together to land Amazon’s second headquarters

Herndon Council Member Jeff Davidson died Saturday, April 7, from injuries that he sustained in a car crash on March 29, Mayor Lisa Merkel announced. Davidson, 68, was serving his first term on the council and had been a resident of Herndon since 1986.

After previously being competitors for businesses and other building projects, Arlington and Alexandria are working together to try and bring Amazon’s second headquarters to the region.
