Police in Prince William County began wearing body cameras this past September, and now the Manassas City Police Department will follow suit, choosing to equip all officers with the devices following a successful trial period involving six officers.

On Tuesday, there appeared to be “sandlike particles” on sterilized instruments and trays at Inova Fairfax Hospital, causing 150 elective procedures to be rescheduled. Inova’s vice president and chief medical officer, Dr. Scott Betzelos, said that the instruments did not pose any risk of infection, but that the procedures were cancelled as a cautionary measure.
