Virginia representative pushes to gut Office of Congressional Ethics; Prince William delegate calls to declare porn public health hazard

House Republicans voted to gut the Office of Congressional Ethics, an independent body that investigates misconduct by government officials, and replace it with the House Ethics Committee made up by lawmakers. The package was pushed by Virginia Rep. Bob Goodlatte, and the full House will vote on it today.
