Obama expels 35 Russian diplomats; Reagan and Dulles employees may receive wage increase

President Obama announced he will place economic sanctions on Russia and expel 35 Russian diplomats from the country in response to Russia’s interference with the U.S. election. Despite Russia’s Foreign Ministry recommending expelling U.S. diplomats, President Vladimir Putin said he would not take retaliatory action.
