Kensington Publishing Corp.
After flouting a direct command from a senior officer in the fire department while on the scene of a live fire, Alex Donovan finds himself with four weeks of community service at a soup kitchen. While it is not his ideal way of getting back in the good graces of his boss and returning to the job, he finds a new boss who matches his stubbornness: Zoe Westin, his boss’s daughter. New flames begin to flare. (January 2016)

The Wiregrass
by Pam Webber
She Writes Press
In a debut novel, Pam Webber takes readers to the Wiregrass, “a place where angels and demons dance,” says the mother of 14-year-old protagonist Nettie about the southern Alabama town of Crystal Springs. With a setting that can be likened to To Kill a Mockingbird, Webber takes readers on a journey of summer antics, repercussions and lessons that bring youngsters into adulthood in a way that only dramatic events can. (August 2015)
