Located in Falls Farm, a custom-home community in Great Falls, this beautiful new build sits on 2 acres of land and blends modern design and high-end finishes.
Designed by Harrison Design and constructed by Artisan Builders, the 10,305-square-foot house has three levels and currently serves as a model home for the neighborhood.
Tracy Morris, owner of Tracy Morris Design, served as a design consultant on the project and describes the home as a transitional Nantucket cottage. “It feels like you are walking into a home in the Hamptons or Nantucket,” she says. “It’s unexpected.”
The layout allows each room to feel cozy and private while also remaining easily accessible. The main floor contains a front-to-back foyer that helps seamlessly connect the front of the home to the outdoor living space in the backyard.
Another contemporary feature is the double-floating, open-riser staircase with glass railings. The foyer also leads to the living room space and two offices — one of which contains custom floor-to-ceiling bookcases crafted by Artisan Builders.
Another fun touch? One of the bookcases serves as a hidden door, which leads to a flex room with an attached bathroom.

A Chef’s Dream Kitchen
The kitchen, designed by Lobkovich Inc. in Tysons, features a large island perfect for gathering with family or friends while you prepare a meal.
“I love to cook, so the kitchen is definitely my favorite part of this home,” says Morris. “You truly don’t even need to go anywhere else. It’s just spectacular.”
The kitchen features Kohler fixtures, Sub-Zero appliances, and a La Cornue CornuFé range stove.
Wood ceiling beams from an area Amish company add warmth to the space, along with custom cabinetry painted an earthy green. Lobkovich Inc. selected the colors and finishes for the kitchen, which Morris says really set the tone for the rest of the house.
Morris worked to build off of that color scheme in many of the other spaces, assisting with paint, cabinetry, wood finishes, and furniture placement. “Artisan really knows how to build a house,” Morris says. “It truly went off without a hitch.”
Also on the main level are the dining room and great room, which include coffered ceiling details and an oversized 68-inch fireplace.

Upper and Lower Highlights
The second floor boasts a primary suite with custom built-ins and four closets.
The star of the show, however, may be the primary bathroom with a textured freestanding tub, double walk-in marble shower, and twin vanities with plenty of storage space. “They were definitely trying to create a spa-like retreat for the future homeowners in this space,” Morris says.
Also on the top floor is the laundry room with a farmhouse sink, located directly outside the primary suite, as well as three additional bedrooms.
The lower level of the home is made for exercising and entertaining. It includes a golf room complete with a simulator and turf flooring as well as a glass-door home gym. There’s also a powder room, a custom-built bar with backlit cabinetry, a living area with a fireplace, and a flex room that can be converted to meet the homeowner’s needs.
“There are just so many specific and unique details that make this house special,” Morris says. “It would be fantastic for a growing family or even for empty nesters who want space to welcome their kids and grandchildren home.”

Outdoor Oasis
The home’s outdoor space is equally as impressive and is complete with a pool, fire pit, and flagstone patio.
The covered patio also has an outdoor kitchen with a grill for serving and dining. Other outdoor highlights include a full pool bath and shower, built-in speakers, upgraded landscaping, lawn sprinklers, and two separate garages to accommodate four cars.
“This home is on such a lovely lot with so much space to entertain and play,” Morris says.
