ZZ Plant
Known for surviving almost any weather or thermostat setting, ZZ plants are able to thrive with minimal natural light and require very little water. The ZZ plant should only be watered once the soil in its pot has completely dried, not only making it a good wintertime plant, but also making it a good houseplant for those who don’t have the greenest thumb.

Aloe
Succulents are a great option if your house tends to run dry during the winter season. Aloe plants won’t wilt, and they can go three to four weeks without needing to be watered. But, aloe is a dessert plant and needs sunlight. Place in your windowsill for an optimal environment.
