5 workouts to try over the weekend

Stay motivated during your off time with outdoor yoga, a morning kayaking session, and boot camp at the brewery.

You don’t have to wait until Monday to start a new workout plan. If you’re looking to shake things up, consider adding yoga, kayaking and bootcamp classes to your weekend workout schedule.

Morning on Burke Lake

Saturday, 7–9 a.m.
Nothing says rise and shine like a morning on the lake. Break out your water gear and grab a cup of coffee on your way to the water for a calming kayak session as the songbirds start to wake up from their slumber. Burke Lake Park: 7315 Ox Rd., Fairfax Station; $42

Yoga in the Park

Saturday, 10–11 a.m.
Yoga and nature are the perfect combination for your healing needs. Join the instructors of Latitude Yoga Co. and brave the humidity for an hour-long yoga class by the trees and creek. Widewater State Park: 101 Widewater State Park Rd., Stafford; free

Baby Goat and Baby Bunny Snuggle and Bottle Feed

Saturday, 4:15–6:15 p.m.
Kick off your night of fun with the cutest baby goats and bunnies. The outdoor class combines vinyasas with cute animals for a truly relaxing afternoon. Sunrise Yoga at Sunshine Ridge
