Taste: An egg white, shaken to a froth, is a common element in cocktails. Watching a barista crack an egg yolk in the bottom of a glass mug and whisk it into honey before pouring coffee over it all and topping it with a tower of whipped cream was something I was not used to. The Austrian drink, a nod to owner Stefan Trummer’s homeland, makes for a rich, delicately sweet and obviously indulgent afternoon of caffeinating at Trummer’s Coffee & Wine Bar.
