This is not a Pinterest-style list of wants, desires and things utterly unobtainable. This is what the Food Desk actually likes and uses, items we can personally recommend you buy for others. (We’ll post our wish list next week.)

Gift Giving
Things we own and know are awesome.

Drop them in Manhattans or pop these candied cherries right into your mouth. –SG

For when you feel a little fancier than your standard cup of coffee. –SB

A lot of my mornings start with a smoothie out of this little guy. –SB

Because every single wine drinker knows wine is better with a little air. –SB

Pier 1 wine stuff: excessive yet festive. –Nicole Bayne

I actually have eaten this Spoonable from Brooklyn caramel sauce right out of the jar. –NB
