Fashion Exchange
Tucked away in the back of an old strip mall in the older section of McLean is Fashion Exchange. And though the worn building isn’t welcoming, don’t let that dissuade you, because you’ll miss out on amazing bargains. On our jaunt to the store, we found an authentic Louis Vuitton for $300, plus designer brands set off in sections for easy shopping: Missoni, St. John Couture, Prada, Marc Jacobs, and more. The racks carry more of the everyday designers (BCBG, Ugg, 14th & Union, White House Black Market). 6663 Old Dominion Dr., McLean
N’Used
Stop in this warehouse consignment shop just to get some love from resident dogs Huey and Bean. Huey will even hang with you as you go through the massive space filled with pieces from Coach, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, and more: all laid out in vignettes to make perusing easier. 284 Sunset Park Dr., Herndon
New to You
This store is streamlined and all about business. The glass case holds J. Lieber purses and Tiffany’s jewelry, and the racks are filled with designer brands like Bottega Veneta, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Coach. A display of shoes can be found at the front, showcased as any other store would. But the real high-end pieces are encased in a glass bookcase. 108 W. Broad St., Falls Church
