Dolan Uyghur Restaurant now plans to open its Falls Church location by October 18, and the projected opening of a Crystal City location has been pushed back a few months, ARLnow reports.
The 4,308-square-foot Falls Church restaurant opens where Pizzeria Orso used to be at 400 S. Maple Ave. It had been set to open in early September.
The Dolan Uyghur restaurants feature traditional Uyghur dishes like hand-pulled noodles, chicken stew, and housemade dumplings. They also serve Turkish and Mediterranean-style cuisine.
The Crystal City location at the apartment complex, Quimby on 23rd, will be at 320 23rd St. S.
Hamid Kerim, Dolan’s owner, told ARLnow the date for the Crystal City site, his fourth restaurant, will open in 2025, possibly in February or March, rather than this November.
Dolan has locations on Metrotech Drive in Chantilly and Connecticut Avenue in DC’s Cleveland Park neighborhood.
