Alexandria residents, rejoice! You no longer have to cross the Potomac or I-66 to get your Andy’s Pizza fix: the New York–style pizza shop has just opened a new location in Old Town.
To celebrate the grand opening, the shop will be offering a free slice of pizza with any purchase on Wednesday, October 19.
As with its other locations, the Old Town shop will feature an unfussy menu that includes wings, salads, fries, and, of course pizza, either whole or by the slice. Alongside a pie, enjoy a draft beer or craft cocktails from Andy’s local-driven drink menu.
If opening a sixth location in the area isn’t proof enough of a good slice, Andy’s is also the winner of an international pizza competition — and our food editor’s favorite slice in NoVA. In 2021, the restaurant was the winner of the traditional pizza category in the International Pizza Expo’s International Pizza Challenge, a prestigious competition that started in 2007.
“Andy’s has become a neighborhood favorite as they’ve slowly grown around the DMV,” says owner Andy Brown. The popular local pizza chain is still growing: Bethesda will be home to a seventh location in the near future.
Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a casual night out, Andy’s has you covered. Guests can enjoy their full dining experience with friends and family, grab a pie to-go on your way home from work, or on those busiest nights use the online ordering system to get your dinner delivered.
Andy’s Old Town location is currently open for dinner service from 5-10 p.m. daily. 107 N. Fayette St., Alexandria
