ICYMI: The Inn at Little Washington was awarded three Michelin stars

Food news, plus one coffee shop closes in Leesburg, another opens in Arlington.

The only Virginia restaurant included in the Washington, D.C. Michelin Guide, the Inn at Little Washington, which turns 40 this year, gained a star to earn the highest rating of three stars for the 2019 guide. This is also the only three-star restaurant in the city’s guide. [Washington Post]

The St. James sports complex in Springfield opens this weekend, though Spike Mendelsohn’s restaurant Vim and Victor is still more than a month away from its debut. There’s a pop-up in the interim.  [Washington Business Journal]
