Reserve Your Seat at One of These 6 Wine Dinners This Fall

Multi-course dinners and wine pairings are a must as harvest season comes to a close around NoVA.

As the summer harvest comes to a close, it is time to take advantage of all the fresh fruits and vegetables. Enjoy the beautiful fall views and extravagant wine and dine experiences at these local restaurants and wineries.

Harvest Chef’s Table

September 10, 11, 17, and 18, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
As the fields are harvested, enjoy the local bounties at Bluemont Vineyard. Dine under the stars to savor cider from the apple harvest, and other seasonal dishes straight from Great Country Farms. The four-course menu is set to include farm-fresh tomatoes, chilled cucumber and avocado soup, and summer gnocchi. Bluemont Vineyard: 18755 Foggy Bottom Rd., Bluemont; $99

Spirited History: A Tasting of History & Whiskeys at Aldie Mill

September 11, 6:30-10 p.m.
If wine isn’t your thing, enjoy the 10th annual whiskey dinner presented by Catoctin Creek Distillery. As you chow down on five courses of cheeses, appetizers, salad, a main course, and dessert–all perfectly paired with the distillery’s whiskeys–take in the history of Aldie mill and its role in the Civil War. He Said/She Said Wine Dinner

September 16, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Wine dinner meets Iron Chef at this Purcellville winery. Executive Chefs Tim Rowley and Katie Reineburg Rowley, also husband and wife, will battle it out to create awe-inspiring dishes from one key ingredient. The menu will feature four different battles that include corn, tomatoes, carrots, and apples. Walsh Family Wine: 16031 Hillsboro Rd., Purcellville; $130

Alfresco “Tour de France” Six-Course Wine Dinner Experience

September 16, 6-9 p.m.
Take a trip to France without crossing the ocean. With six courses prepared by Chef Jacques and wines presented by Hugues Beaulieu, the head sommelier at The Inn at Little Washington, you will truly have a European experience at home. L’Auberge Chez François: 332 Springvale Rd., Great Falls; $192

Terroir To Table: Harvest Wine Dinner in the Vineyard

October 9, 6-9 p.m.
Celebrate the end of the harvest season with a beautiful outdoor dinner. Take in the sunset over the vineyards as you dine on a five-course farm-to-table meal and wine pairing; expertly prepared by Executive Chef Christian Evans and Lost Creek Winemaker Tood Henkle. Winemaker’s Pairing Dinner Series: Virginia Piedmont’s Harvest Flavors

October 16, 5:30-8 p.m.
Wrapping up the winemaker’s pairing dinner series is the Harvest Flavors meal. Dine of the delicious plates from Orlean Market that are perfectly paired with 5 wines from the Philip Carter Winery of Virginia. Philip Carter Winery: 4366 Stillhouse Rd., Hume; $58
