From Aldie to Vienna, here’s where to go if you don’t feel like baking for the holidays.

Looking for something sweet this holiday? Whether you’re celebrating alone, with your immediate family or a group, you’ll need some pie. If you’re not in the market to make your own, there are plenty of compelling choices around our region. This list will help you pick a winner.

Acme Pie Co.

Want to keep it extra local? So does this bakery, which sources its ingredients from as nearby as possible. The result this Thanksgiving is five different ultra-seasonal pies including pecan-chocolate-maple and pumpkin with ginger. // 2803 Columbia Pike, Arlington

A la Mode Pies and Ice Cream

Pick up or order delivery from this bakery. Though you can pick up whole pies in flavors like wild berry and apple-caramel, for those who believe variety is the spice of life, there are platters with assorted slices, too. // 14698 Lee Hwy., Gainesville

Cakes by Happy Eatery

There are more than 30 appealing options on the Thanksgiving pie menu here, including gluten-free, vegan and no-sugar-added pies. We’re salivating over roasted hazelnut crunch, Banana Split and S’mores. Don’t want to make dinner, either? They’ll roast your turkey, too. // 9685 Liberia Ave, #107, Manassas

Little Apple Pastry Shop

Orders must be placed by Nov. 14 for Thanksgiving pies at this family-run bakery. (If you miss it, there’s always Christmas.) There are nine kinds of apple pie alone, including apple-maple-bacon with jalapeno. Blue Hawaiian has blueberries, coconut and ginger. For real traditionalists, there’s even shoo fly pie. // 23217 Meetinghouse Lane, Aldie

Livin’ the Pie Life

Salted caramel chocolate chess pie sounds pretty darn good, doesn’t it? It’s one of eight special pies available for Thanksgiving pre-order at this pie purveyor. For those with dietary restrictions, there are gluten-free and vegan options, just make sure to reserve by Nov. 19. // 2166 N. Glebe Road, Arlington

Mom’s Apple Pie Company

From Nov. 15 to 27, this beloved bakery won’t be taking orders. However, walk-in customers will find a wide scope of pies, including nut, chess, meringue, cream and fruit pies. There are even quiches for an easy meal the day after the main event. // multiple locations

Pie Gourmet

Artisan pies have been flying out the doors of this bakery since 1987. The holiday menu includes old-school favorites like pumpkin, sweet potato and mincemeat. The holiday menu includes cheesecakes as well, both vanilla and marble flavors. // 507 Maple Ave. W., Vienna
