Find Sweets Treats at the New River-Sea Chocolates Reston Location

The new space houses the company’s expanded chocolate factory.

There’s nothing sweeter than supporting a local business. And now you can satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time at the new River-Sea Chocolates location. The local candy-maker has opened a second store at 11495 Sunset Hills Rd. in Reston.

The Reston shop is not quite as large as the original Chantilly location, but it houses the brand’s expanded chocolate factory. Customers can look through a window to see the more than 2,000-square-foot factory busy at work producing the company’s chocolate bars, candies, and truffles.

River-Sea prides itself on its sustainable practices and high-quality ingredients. The owners source the cacao overseas and then process it entirely on site, offering “bean-to-bar” products, including vegan options.

The Reston store also sells coffee and River-Sea merchandise including T-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies, and stuffed sloth toys. The store is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
