It’s hard to beat an afternoon enjoying a refreshing cider or spirit under the summer sun. If you’re looking for a place to sip on both, visit Middleburg’s Mt. Defiance Cidery & Distillery‘s new patio bar at The Barn.
The bar’s grand opening will be held on Saturday, May 31, from noon to 8 p.m. The free event is both family- and dog-friendly.
The celebration will feature live music by Dan Trull, food by My Sweet Thyme, and plenty of craft cocktails, frozen drinks, and ciders
The opening of the patio bar isn’t the only cause for celebration. After outgrowing the current distillery space, Mt. Defiance has decided to close its current distillery location and move its tasting room to the cider barn. Starting May 31, guests will be able to enjoy handcrafted cocktails and spirits, along with Mt. Defiance’s cider experience all in one place. 495 E. Washington St., Middleburg
