The food hall brand Wonder has announced plans to open seven DC-area locations, including in Rosslyn, Reston, and Franconia. Its flagship DC store set to open in July at 1925 14th St. NW, with plans to partner with the nonprofit DC Central Kitchen.

In Northern Virginia, building permits show Wonder then plans a location at 11690 Plaza America Drive in Reston, in the space formerly occupied by Maizal, the Washington Business Journal reports. The Franconia store will be 7001F Manchester Blvd., which was formerly Genghis Grill. The Rosslyn location is 1771 N. Pierce St. in the Cortland Rosslyn mixed-use building.

The Washington Business Journal also reports that Wonder is eyeing a location at 9504 Main Street in Fairfax that was formerly a TD Bank, and a space in Alexandria’s Potomac Yard at 3625 Richmond Highway that currently operates as a Chase Bank.

About Wonder

New York-based company Wonder partners with high-profile chefs and dozens of restaurants to offer their menu items for dine-in, takeout, and delivery.

The company’s chef partners include Bobby Flay, José Andres, Nancy Silverton, and Marcus Samuelsson. It offers dishes from award-winning eateries like Tejas Barbeque in Texas, New York’s SriPraPhai and Di Fara Pizza, and Atlanta’s Fred’s Meat & Bread. Wonder handles the food prep and delivery and claims its orders will be delivered in less than 30 minutes.
