Green Pig Bistro Moving Beneath Buena Vida in Clarendon

The move puts the restaurant in a more prominent location with an upgraded kitchen.

By Colleen Kelleher September 27, 2024 at 10:39 am

Green Pig Bistro intends to move to a new, more prominent Clarendon location in the near future.

Next week’s expected move to 2900 Wilson Blvd. from 1025 N. Fillmore St. puts the French bistro on the ground floor below Buena Vida Gastrolounge, a Mexican restaurant, in the popular area known as The Crossing Clarendon.

Both restaurants are owned by Fitzgerald Lewis, who tells the Washington Business Journal a rent increase from $32 per square foot to $60 per square foot made the move a no-brainer. The Green Pig first opened on Fillmore Street 12 years ago.

The new location of the bistro has an upgraded kitchen, color scheme, and mural of pigs, according to Washington Business Journal.

Lewis acquired both restaurants within the past year.
