Vienna Inn Wins NoVA Wars: Breakfast Edition

The neighborhood bar defeated The Celebrity Delly to be named the best breakfast spot in Northern Virginia.

By Michele Kettner September 3, 2024 at 10:47 am

After starting with 32 breakfast spots from around the region, Northern Virginians were able to narrow it down to one winner. Our readers voted for Vienna Inn as the winner of our first NoVA Wars: Breakfast Edition.

The neighborhood staple defeated Ted’s Bulletin, Virginia Kitchen, Lazy Mike’s Delicatessen, and Bob & Edith’s Diner before topping The Celebrity Delly in the final round.

“We are thrilled and honored to be voted Best Breakfast in Northern Virginia,” the business said. “Thank you to Northern Virginia Magazine and our wonderful customers for your support. Our team takes great pride in serving the best breakfast experience every day!”

Open since 1960, the dive bar is not only a great place to chow down on appetizers and its famous hot dogs as you enjoy a beer, but it’s also a perfect spot to start your day. The breakfast menu includes all of the classics like a variety of omelets, home fries, and breakfast combos. The fan favorites are the Fat French Toast and Homemade Hotcakes.

Vienna Inn is open daily, with breakfast served Monday through Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.
