Alexandria Restaurant Week Starts August 16

Restaurants will offer meals at three price points, including $27.50 in honor of the city’s anniversary.

More than 90 restaurants will participate in Alexandria Restaurant Week from August 16 to 25.

This summer’s three-tier pricing for the special menus will be $27.50, $40, or $50 per person. The $27.50 prix fixe meal is a nod to city’s 275th anniversary.

In Del Ray, Holy Cow’s $27.50 deal includes two Del Ray cheeseburgers and two fries.

Cheestique in Del Ray has two courses for $27.50, or you can add a 9-ounce pour for a $40 price tag. Cheestique’s starters include a cheeseboard for one, gazacho, and salads. There are multiple entrées, like a half-chicken or shrimp and grits.

Auggie’s Mussel House has four entrées as part of its three-course, $40 special. Try jambalaya pasta or a spicy prawn linguini for a main meal with a kick.

The Study, which is on our 2023 Best Restaurants list, has a $50 special that includes an entrée and either a starter or dessert. Try deep-fried octopus for your main course with a coffee flan for dessert.

At 1799, you can get a dinner of either honey garlic pork tenderloin or pan-seared red snapper and carrot cake or cheesecake for dessert for $40.

Tequila & Taco has a dinner to feed one or two people for $27.50 with two options, either fajitas or four tacos. Add a flight of frozen margaritas for $12 or signature margaritas for $14.

The restaurants participating in Alexandria Restaurant Week have their menus posted online.

This year, fast casual restaurants are offering additional specials and discounts.
