Get ready for another beer and pizza experience. Atlas Brew Works opens its newest location, Atlas Alexandria Brewery & Tap Room, on Friday and will offer food from Andy’s Pizza.
Atlas opens its 6,000-square-foot beer hall–style bar at 11 a.m. in the Carlyle Crossing development. You’ll get a free slice of Andy’s Pizza when you buy a pint of beer between Friday, June 21, and Sunday, June 23. Award-winning Andy’s Pizza, with its New York–style pies, is on our best places to get pizza list.
This is first NoVA location for Atlas, which has two DC locations in Ivy City and Navy Yard. Its Navy Yard location also features Andy’s Pizza.
The Alexandria brewery with seasonal and year-round beers will have a 1,500-square-foot outdoor patio, pinball machines, and other games, similar to its Ivy City location. There will be six tanks for the artisanal beers.
The all-electric brewery and kitchen won’t use fossil fuels and will “pursue sustainable energy sources at its new location,” a news release said.
Atlas will be open daily at 11 a.m. The Alexandria location is within walking distance of the King Street and Eisenhower Avenue Metro stations. 2429 Mandeville Ln., Alexandria
