Ready to find a new go-to spot for a beer? Lark Brewing Co., a new farm brewery in Aldie, will open this weekend to offer guests fresh brews, tasty treats, and plenty of entertainment. The grand opening is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.

The grand opening is sure to be one to remember. Visitors can expect live music and entertainment from Melissa Quinn Fox and Scott Kurt, balloon art and face painting, a photo booth, and miniature horses from Ohana Equestrian Preserve.

You may even go home with a new family member. Friends of Homeless Animals will be on site from 1 to 4 p.m. for a dog adoption event.

And, of course, you can’t forget the beer. Lark has a tap list of 13 brews in different styles, including IPAs, pilsners, lagers, a few hard ciders, and some fruited options. There’s the Double Dog Dare, an Imperial IPA with a full flavor and “a balanced assertive bitterness;” the No Dress Code New England IPA, with fruity, tropical notes; and the smooth, chocolatey Day Dreamer red ale.

Not a beer fan? There’s wine available, as well as some non-alcoholic beverages.

The drinks are complemented with a full food menu, including shareables like steak-and-cheese eggrolls, an assortment of sandwiches, flatbreads, and root beer floats or cinnamon-sugar pretzels for something sweet.

And there’s plenty of space to spread out and enjoy those offerings. The main indoor taproom is over 6,500 square feet. There are two outdoor pavilions of over 2,000 square feet, a mezzanine overlooking the taproom, a game space, a courtyard, and a porch.

Bring your kids to this family-friendly establishment, and dogs are allowed in the outdoor areas.
