Christophe and Mishelle Poteaux expanding French restaurant, Bastille Restaurant & Wine Bar into second location called Bastille 2.0, Charlie Nelson of Belle Meade Bourbon will be at Gypsy Soul in Fairfax with Gypsy Soul’s RJ Cooper and “chef-tender” cocktail expert Bryan Tetorakis tomorrow at 6, Governor McAuliffe has officially dubbed November as National Oyster Month, Prune: New Cookbook by Gabrielle Hamilton, and D.C. Christophe and Michelle Poteaux launched a 45-day crowdsourcing campaign to move Bastille into a new location at The Asher building in Alexandria. The new restaurant, Bastille 2.0, will have an expanded menu and a larger seating capacity, while Bastille, which will be changed to Bistrot Royal. 

Tomorrow at 6 p.m., Belle Meade Bourbon creator Charlie Nelson will host a dinner at Gypsy Soul promoting the re-opening of Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery. 

Governor McAuliffe has officially dubbed November National Oyster Month with oyster festivals in the state’s seven oyster regions.
