Christophe and Michelle Poteaux launched a 45-day crowdsourcing campaign to move Bastille into a new location at The Asher building in Alexandria. The new restaurant, Bastille 2.0, will have an expanded menu and a larger seating capacity, while Bastille, which will be changed to Bistrot Royal. 

Tomorrow at 6 p.m., Belle Meade Bourbon creator Charlie Nelson will host a dinner at Gypsy Soul promoting the re-opening of Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery. 

Governor McAuliffe has officially dubbed November National Oyster Month with oyster festivals in the state’s seven oyster regions.
