Vegetarians, vegans and green-feins will now have more reasons to go to Earl’s Sandwiches. Tomorrow the Arlington sandwich shops will debut more meatless options and salads.

Previously, customers wanting vegetarian options were limited to four sandwiches and a small sampling of side dishes like a mixed field greens salad and french fries, while carnivores have a cutting board of over 25 sandwiches.

“My two favorite items that are coming out are the crispy tofu sandwich and the the Calcutta,” says General Manager Illiana Callejas-Ingram. The tofu sandwich will include a carrot salad with a rice wine vinaigrette and a creamy Sriracha sauce on ciabatta and the Calcutta  is made with curried chickpeas and  apple mango chutney, also on ciabatta. And for those maintaining a gluten-free diet, there are gluten-free wraps available for no extra charge.
