You’ll have a hard time biting into the desserts at ArTeA because they are just too pretty to eat. Seasonal offerings (pictured above) include desserts shaped like bananas, mangoes, pistachios, raspberries, and pears with creamy mousse hidden under the crunchy or soft exterior layer. This Fairfax bakery might have just dropped the dessert of the summer. In June, Layered added Verry Berried, an ice cream version of its fruit-shaped treats, to the menu. Whether you’re in the mood for cake or ice cream, you can find it at La Dolce Bon Bon.
