Find Spring-Inspired Coffee Drinks at These Northern Virginia Cafés

These seasonal drinks are brightening coffee menus across Northern Virginia.

By Emily Perez March 27, 2026 at 11:18 am

Coffee shops are ushering in spring with a fresh batch of seasonal flavors. From berries and citrus to dessert-inspired drinks, these cafés offer inventive drinks that go beyond your standard latte.

Basecamp Coffee Roasters

Basecamp Coffee Roasters brings a mix of refreshing and indulgent drinks to its spring menu. The Strawberry Coconut Blossom blends black tea, coconut milk, and strawberry syrup with a hint of rose. An oat milk rose matcha continues the floral trend, while the Blackberry Honey Espresso Fizz offers a bubbly, lightly sweet option with tonic or soda water. For those craving something richer, a crème brûlée–inspired latte is topped with torched caramelized sugar. 8461-D Leesburg Pk., Tysons Corner

Commonwealth Joe

Commonwealth Joe’s seasonal lineup is all about fruit- and tea-infused combinations. The Berry Blossom Latte and cherry white mocha bring a soft and subtle sweetness to classic drinks. Matcha takes center stage with flavors like strawberries and cream, Earl Grey, and peach cobbler. The French vanilla lavender cold foam is a fun, floral add-on to any iced coffee. 520 12th St. S., Ste. 150, Arlington

Hypergoat Coffee Roasters

Hypergoat Coffee Roasters’ spring menu, created by baristas and voted on by patrons, leans into nuanced, aromatic flavors. The Rose Cardy Latte combines housemade rose-cardamom syrup with crushed rose petals, ground cardamom, and sparkling sugar. The Bluebell Soda offers a refreshing alternative with iced espresso, jasmine silver tip tea, blackberry, mango, and coconut flakes. For a more classic twist, the Sweet Little Treat is a traditional macchiato with housemade Earl Grey lavender syrup. 215 N. Payne St., Alexandria

Loud’n Roasted

Loud’n Roasted’s spring drinks balance comfort and brightness. The banana bread–flavored latte and matcha give soft, familiar flavors, while the pistachio raspberry latte offers tartness. The blueberry lemon matcha has a citrusy cream topping, and the honey lavender latte blends two classic flavors. Try the Lemon Madeleine Cloud Latte for a pastry-inspired treat. 43930 Farmwell Hunt Plz., Ste. 112, Ashburn; 14100 Sullyfield Cir., Ste. 100, Chantilly

SR Coffee Co.

At SR Coffee Co., the drinks take a more intense dessert-inspired approach. The Blueberry Pancake Latte mixes maple spice with blueberry, while the Strawberry S’mores Latte layers strawberry, mocha, and toasted marshmallow cold foam. The blueberry-lavender latte and Berry Blossom Matcha — with vanilla, raspberry, and honey cold foam — offer lighter, fruit-and-floral combinations. 940 Sycolin Rd., Ste. 145, Leesburg; 43330 Junction Plz., Ste. 110, Ashburn

Weird Brothers Coffee

Weird Brothers Coffee keeps things playful with a mix of bold flavors. The Purple Rain Nitro combines lavender and coconut in a smooth cold brew, while the Beary Chai incorporates blackberry with spiced chai. For those still feeling lucky, the Shamrock Matcha and Mad Irishman lean richer, with notes of Irish cream and white chocolate. Multiple area locations
