6 Places to Get Fresh Lemonade in NoVA

These drinks aren’t the typical ones you would make at home.

By Lindsay Kaine June 25, 2024 at 1:29 pm

Nothing is better than a glass of lemonade on a warm summer day. It might be easy to pick up packaged lemonades at the store, but nothing quenches the taste buds like a fresh beverage. Here are some places where you can find fresh lemonade in Northern Virginia and DC.

Cox Farms

Try the fresh-squeezed lemonade at this farm stand for a perfect midday refreshment. Every glass is made fresh daily. The lemonade is featured as part of Cox Farm’s Smokin’ Saturday festivities. 15621 Braddock Rd., Centreville

Hog Haven Farm

Hog Haven’s housemade lemonade uses only lemon juice, cane sugar, and the primary flavoring ingredient. The 12-ounce beverages come in three flavors: pomegranate, local organic mint, or ginger syrup. Lemonades can be ordered online or you can find them at various weekend farmers markets like the Mosaic District, Del Ray, Falls Church, and Old Town Alexandria. Multiple locations

Lemon Face Shakers

With a variety of specialty flavors, this lemonade stand has a delicious option for everyone. The lemonade is freshly squeezed and served ice-cold in a 32-ounce container. Flavors include classics like strawberry and mango and other options like peach-pineapple and strawberry–passion fruit. You can find Lemon Face Shakers every Saturday at the EatLoco Farmers Market at One Loudoun. 44505 Atwater Dr., Ashburn

LemonadeLove

Buying these lemonades will make you feel good since a percentage of each sale goes to the National Black Farmers Association. LemonadeLove offers plant-powered lemonades, wellness shots, and frozen lemonade for delivery or pick up at area farmers markets. Try out specialty flavors ranging from charcoal blackberry sage to lavender pea flower. Find them at the Mosaic District Freshfarm Market every Sunday in front of Sephora. Mosaic District: District Ave, Fairfax

Uncle Kebba’s Lemonade

Uncle Kebba’s specializes in old-fashioned, made-to-order, fresh-squeezed old-fashioned lemonade, limeade, and orangeade. The menu offers flavors like white peach, blue raspberry, and piña colada. Each drink is served in a 32-ounce cup you can get refilled for a discount. You can find Uncle Kebba’s at the farmers markets in Alexandria’s Del Ray and West End farmers markets, as wells at the markets in Met Park and Dale City. Multiple locations

Urban + Ade

Every lemonade from Urban + Ade combines lemon juice with fresh herbs from the founder’s farm in Maryland. Flavor combinations include sage and mint, red basil and tarragon, and lavender and verbena. Each mixture comes in a frozen pouch. Customers just need to add water for the mixture to turn into a refreshing sweet lemonade. Find this lemonade every Sunday at the Freshfarm market in DC’s Dupont Circle. Dupont Circle: 1600 20th St. NW, Washington, DC
