There’s a new way to navigate Loudoun County’s wineries from the DC area (without a designated driver). Vineyard Voyages, a new luxury shuttle service that takes riders from Falls Church to NoVA wineries, launches on Saturday, May 18.

The premise is simple: The shuttle picks you up from the bus area at the West Falls Church Metro station and drives you to three different Loudoun County wineries in one day. The expedition spans eight hours, and at the end, it drops you off right where you started.
The regular ticket price is $80 per person plus fees. As a special promotion through June 30, passengers will receive a “swag bag” containing wine tumblers and other goodies with the purchase of a ticket when they use the code SWAGBAG.

Tours run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
A ticket includes bus transportation. The air-conditioned bus has Wi-Fi, overhead storage, and power outlets. A guide on the bus will share information about Loudoun County’s history. Tastings at the wineries are not included, but there are some exclusive discounts available for the group.
For food, you can either pack snacks or get something to eat at the wineries. You can bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages on board, but no one may consume alcohol on the bus.

Vineyard Voyages’ booking site lists three excursions, each with its own lineup of wineries.
