Get ready to explore Fairfax’s diverse dining scene: The Fairfax City Restaurant Week is back for a seventh year.
The culinary event, hosted by the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, Fairfax City Economic Development Authority, the Old Town Business Association, and consultants, runs from February 26 to March 3.
Throughout the week, the 25 participating restaurants will offer deals including $40 prix fixe dinner specials, $25 lunches or brunches, and a two for $10 deal on smaller or more casual bites.
“Trying new restaurants, or trying new offerings at favorite places, is something we can do together, and we invite other people to join us,” said Fairfax City Mayor Catherine Read. “Dining in the city can be a culinary trip around the world without needing a passport.”
With this lineup of restaurants, it’s hard to know where to start. Mama Chang, one of Northern Virginia Magazine’s Best Restaurants of 2023, offers authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine. For fresh seafood, head to Draper’s Steak & Seafood, or try Ned’s New England Deck for lobster rolls and clam chowder.
Some other participating restaurants include the following:
- Baku Delicious, an Azerbaijani bakery and cafe;
- Coyote Grill, which recently reopened with a new Southwestern fine-dining concept;
- Bellisimo Restaurant, a Northern Italian cuisine restaurant;
- Meokja Meokja, a Korean barbecue spot;
- Old Dominion Pizza Company, known for its square, Grandma-style pies;
- The Auld Shebeen, voted the best Irish bar in Northern Virginia in our 2023 Best of NoVA poll.
