Pair Your Brunch with a Cocktail at One of These NoVA Restaurants

Indulge in a bloody mary, bottomless mimosas, or a craft cocktail at your next weekend brunch.

By Dawn Klavon April 18, 2023 at 8:33 am

Weekends lend themselves to letting your hair down and enjoying a brunch cocktail with your French toast. These locations are expert purveyors of creative cocktails, mimosas, and more with every kind of flourish imaginable.

Screwtop Wine Bar

Arlington

Order fancy rosé lime, la pêche, or blood orange sparkling cocktails, or indulge in a carafe of cherry blossom sangria. Sweet sips include Madeira reserve, tawny port, moscato, and raspberry merlot.

Leesburg Public House

Leesburg

Saddle up to three mule varieties, the bourbon-graced Texas Tea, or a blackened bloody mary. Craft cocktails like the rum-centric punch and Drunken Monkey prevail.

Ada’s on the River

Alexandria

Discover Bubbles on the River, which blends prosecco and strawberry-infused vodka, and three bloody mary variations, such as In the Garden, featuring organic cucumber vodka.

The Black Sheep

Manassas

The Black Sheep provides “Pick-Me-Ups aka Hangover Drinks.” Dive into the rye-fueled hot toddy, the Malibu rum Staycation, or the bourbon-blessed Rambler.

Entyse

McLean

You can’t go wrong with classics like a bloody mary or Bellini at this elegant restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner, but you’ll also find head-turners like a peach martini featuring Tito’s, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice.
