Old Town

EatsPlace (sandwiches + coffee)
Hummingbird (American)
Lori’s Table (sandwiches)
Namaste (Indian)
Nicecream (ice cream)
Sunday in Saigon
Nasime (Japanese)
Nasime was perhaps the most under-the-radar opening of late. This Japanese restaurant, a $48, five-course meal, operates out of a slim space on the quieter end of King Street in Old Town Alexandria. The menu changes with the seasons, but always includes a sashimi plate and a bowl of noodle soup (with crustaceans or fowl) to share. It’s an unpretentious place, a sincere mom-and-pop vibe but with startlingly exquisite food.

Del Ray

Triple Craft (burgers + shakes)
Dolce and Bean (desserts)
Flat Top Burger
Nectar (coffee + wine bar)
SnackBar (cafe)

Hybla Valley

Limon (Peruvian chicken)
Two Bros. Soul Food

More

Bob and Edith’s Diner, Huntington
Calabash African Cuisine & Bar, Van Dorn
Mission BBQ, Kingstowne
Portner Brewhouse, Landmark
Royal Nepal, Four Mile Run
