Tick season is in full swing. These 7 products can help keep them away from your dog.

From topical ointments to on-trend collars, these items will help your pet be tick-free all summer long and beyond.

By Jess Feldman June 23, 2020 at 3:03 pm

Come summer, long walks with your furry friend in the outdoors are a common pastime. From wood-filled pathways to hikes with a rewarding view, there are many adventures you and your pooch can go on together. And, while you’d rather it just be you two, there are other little creatures that tend to sneak in on the fun: ticks, fleas and mosquitoes.

Because pets—dogs, more commonly—are very susceptible to tick bites and tick-borne diseases, the Center for Disease Control recommends working with your pet’s veterinarian to determine the best ways to prevent ticks from latching onto your pooch. The best way to do that? Investing in a few powerful products that can make all the difference.

Here, we share seven products that will keep your pet safe all summer long.
