Get ready to wag your tails—Pet Fiesta returns to downtown Reston

Whether you’re searching for a new four-legged family member, or looking for an eventful Saturday morning walk with your pack, Pet Fiesta is ready to welcome you back to its downtown Reston extravaganza on May 4.

The event will be held at the Reston Town Center, and will gather animal rescue groups, local pet-inspired businesses and community members for a fun-filled, family-friendly day.

The morning will kick off at 10 a.m. with the Dog House of Style fashion show, featuring dog models who are ready to find their new biggest fans (and family members) in the crowd. Not all of the adoptable pets will strut the runway, but they will be greeting guests in the exhibitor’s area until 4 p.m.

Throughout the day, kids can have their faces painted with their favorite animal, or get a unique caricature portrait with their canine companion. Adults can browse the vendor tables for information on local veterinary services, pet sitting and obedience training.

And if canine couture or crave-worthy treats catch the eye of your furry friend, they’ll be available for purchase, too.

Pet Fiesta is hosted by Gooddogz.org, a Reston-based nonprofit dedicated to ensuring the best family-to-pet fit, as well as educating new and current pet owners with how-to puppy guides, breed explanations and more.
