Choosing where to enroll children for their early education can be difficult for parents, especially when there are so many to choose from in the NoVA and DC region. Adding to the list is Primrose School of Reston, which celebrated its grand opening on April 6.

The school, which began teaching students earlier this year in January, will create more than 35 full-time jobs and provide education to more than 150 children once it reaches full capacity.

The 10,000-square-foot facility features 10 classrooms, a 12,000-square-foot playground and a Primrose Patch for gardening and nature study activities. The school is currently enrolling students ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. The Reston location is the seventh Primrose school in the greater Washington, DC area.

Primrose uses its exclusive Balanced Learning approach for teaching, which blends purposeful play with guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion in children.

Parents who enroll their children to start classes within 45 days of touring the new school will receive a week of complimentary tuition. For more information, visit primroseschools.com. // 1309 N. Village Road, Reston; For enrollment call 571-308-6577
