UP! Aventure Park, a new facility for exciting family fun, is opening in Ashburn. The indoor adventure park will feature climbing walls, slides, and more.

UP! will open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Monday, January 20 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day). The adventure par is located at 20051 Riverside Commons Plz., Ashburn, just off Route 7 in Riverside Commons. On February 1, there will be a grand opening with giveaways, a DJ, and a photo booth.

“This has been a passion project several years in the making, and I’m thrilled to introduce something new and innovative to our community,” said owner Chris Dobson. “As a long-time local resident and business owner, I’m proud to create a space where families with kids of all ages can come together and enjoy an exciting adventure right here in Loudoun County.”

The facility spans more than 17,000 square feet (with 30-foot ceilings) with a variety of kid-friendly attractions.

The main attraction is the collection of themed climbing walls — 36 in total. Visitors of all skill levels can climb up landmarks like Big Ben and the Empire State Building.

In addition, UP! has a two-story ropes course and zipline, a massive cargo net, and two 20-foot “slick slides” that launch riders into the air and onto a cushioned air pillow below.

Many of the attractions, including the climbing walls, are open to all ages. Some structures will have specific height or weight limitations.

To take a break from all the climbing, balancing, and sliding, there is an arcade facility where visitors can earn points to redeem for prizes.

While kids play, adults can relax in the parents’ lounge on the mezzanine level, complete with TVs, a seating area, and a convenient view of the play zones below. Meals, snacks, and coffee are available for sale at the in-house cafe.

Tickets range from $31.95 to $49.95, and children ages 3 and under can enter for free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
