Life-Size Dino Fest Coming to Loudoun County This Fall

Over 20 animatronic dinosaurs will make Great Country Farms their home this October.

Dinosaurs are on the verge of invading Bluemont. This fall, the Mesozoic creatures will be taking over Great Country Farms during its first Dino Fest.

The festival kicks off on October 31 and runs through November 24. Dino lovers can expect to find over 20 life-size dinosaurs of various sizes, courtesy of the DinoRefuge, including T. rex and triceratops.

As guests explore the farm, they’ll see giant footprints on the ground and roaring in the fields before they run into these extinct creatures. Once you find the dinosaurs, make sure to take a picture for your research (and to show your friends).

Each day will feature three live dino shows for a deep dive about the reptiles that used to roam the Earth.

Early bird tickets for $24.99 per guest are currently available through August 30. Starting August 31, tickets will be $29.99 if you purchase them online and $32 at the gate. Admission is free for children ages 2 and under. Those with a farm season pass will receive 50 percent off Dino Fest tickets. Admission includes access to the farm’s 15-acre play area.
