A Fairfax County school bus struck the relatively new Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles building on Braddock Road Thursday morning when another driver failed to yield, forcing the bus driver to swerve off the road, Fairfax County police said.
Three people — two children and the bus driver — were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Fairfax County police who said the injuries were minor. No one inside the DMV was hurt.

The crash occurred at 9:06 a.m. in the 9800 block of Braddock Road.
The driver who failed to yield received a citation for failure to yield, the police said.
There was no structural damage to the DMV, police said.
