Prince William County Police are searching for multiple suspects after a gun store in the Manassas area was burglarized.
Officers responded to an alarm activation coming from Dominion Arms just after 5:40 a.m. on November 25, according to a police report released Monday.
Authorities arrived at the arms dealer, located at 7253 Centreville Rd., to discover the glass of the front door had been shattered.
Using the store’s video surveillance, police saw multiple suspects approach the store before “using a pickax-style tool to smash the front door and window to gain entry into the store,” according to the police report. “While inside the business, the suspects took multiple firearms before fleeing.”
Officers dispatched a police K-9 to search the area for the suspects, but the suspects were not located, the report said.
The individuals were last seen wearing all dark-colored clothing, authorities said. Surveillance photos also show one individual carrying a blue backpack. The investigation remains active.
