Let’s Get Yoga Ready

Megan Brown, co-founder of Mind the Mat, shows us how to transition from the studio to the street in style.

It can be cumbersome to tote around a completely different outfit for your post sweat-sesh outing, not to mention that the cost of a week’s worth of exercise outfits from trendy retailers can be upward of $1,000. Luckily, Mind the Mat co-founder Megan Brown has found a way to stretch her athletic wear in a cost- and time-effective manner with a concept she has dubbed “yoga ready.”

The yoga-ready style is comfy and easy to achieve when you pack the necessary items for your next destination. “Pick a few essentials from your favorite athletic-wear line and incorporate them into your wardrobe. I also keep concealer, mascara and lip gloss in my purse for after class. When you are in a hurry to get to your favorite class from work, all you have to do is take off your outer layers,” says Brown.
