A new upscale American eatery is opening in McLean. A Glenwood’s restaurant is planned at the Chesterbrook Shopping Center on Old Dominion Drive.
The new restaurant will be Glenwood’s first location in Northern Virginia. Maryland-based Blueridge Restaurant Group currently operates locations in Columbia, Rockville, and Owings Mills.
The McLean restaurant will encompass approximately 7,000 square feet and seat about 170 guests. It will feature live entertainment, an outdoor patio, valet parking, a private dining room, and a temperature-controlled, floor-to-ceiling wine display.
Glenwood’s locations currently serve a variety of sushi, salads, burgers, seafood, steak, and specialty entrées such as rotisserie chicken and barbecue pork ribs.
Construction on the McLean location is expected to begin in early 2027, with an anticipated opening in fall 2027.
