There’s a cute, mini-cottage playhouse sitting outside Fair Oaks Mall. And a lucky parent could win it for just $20.
The fully furnished, custom playhouse was crafted by a team at Falls Church-based HITT Contracting. It’s currently on display on the sidewalk in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Raffle tickets to win the playhouse are $20 each. Ticket proceeds support the nonprofit agency Fairfax CASA.
Fairfax CASA screens, trains, and supervises local citizens as volunteer advocates for children in the welfare system. The organization’s mission is “to ensure that each child’s needs are identified and addressed with the goal of living in a safe and permanent home.”
You can buy a raffle ticket though the QR code on the sign in front of the house or on Fairfax CASA’s website. The raffle closes on April 19 at 11:59 p.m.
Delivery of the playhouse is free within 50 miles of Fair Oaks Mall.
