Spend this holiday season inside a larger-than-life snow globe. Yes, you read that right. Returning for its second year, Snowglow: Holiday at Hi-Lawn in Washington, DC, will transport guests to the ultimate winter wonderland.
The immersive bar opens on November 15 and runs through January 4. Located in The Dome, Hi-Lawn’s 50-foot immersive sphere above Union Market, this year’s six-week pop-up will celebrate winter light. Once you step into the heated dome, you’ll get a taste of the holiday magic as 360-degree projections fill the sphere with winter scenes from around the world, crafted by digital artist Laura Alice.
In addition to scenes and projections that are reminiscent of a swirling snow globe, the immersive bar will include floating candles, firelight, lighted ice crystals, an illuminated Christmas tree, and other decorations that bring the holidays to life.

The menu this year takes inspiration from the holiday parties of yester-year. There will be festive drinks and shareables, including punch bowls of spiced eggnog, applejack toddies, fondue, rum balls, and ham boards.

Those that aren’t able to snag a ticket can still enjoy the Snowglow fun. New this year is the Snowglow Lounge, a heated and tented bar with seating for up to 75. The lounge is open to the public and includes a dedicated bar and the same menu as inside the globe.
Tickets to Snowglow: Holiday are $23 to $29 and include entry to The Dome and a 90-minute reservation. The experience is free for lap children under 2 during matinee hours, which are open to all ages. Organizers recommended that guests arrive 30 minutes before their reservation.
Snowglow will be open seven days a week with varying time slots. All-ages matinee hours will be available each day.
